Today Kwaku had an awesome opportunity to talk with Leo Winegar who we absolutely adore. He has been a long time commenter on our videos and a solid defender of the faith.

Leo was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons) but upon discovering the polygamous life of Joseph Smith, he left the Church. Instead of searching for another Christ-based religion, Leo became atheist. He was married to a devoted member of the Church and didn’t want their marriage to end so he was cautious in going about his leaving the Church. However, Leo soon felt prompted to reach out to a professor at BYU with his concerns. The professor responded with kindness and provided the answers Leo needed to continue back on his journey toward discipleship.
