Mormons don’t use the symbol of the cross nearly as often as many other Christian religions. Do Mormons believe that Jesus died on the cross?

In this episode, Kwaku, Justin and David talk about how though Mormons believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross, Mormons haven’t been ones to adorn the cross. David argues that the frequent use of the cross just hasn’t even been a ‘thing’ for Mormons. Kwaku and Justin both discuss the importance of and emphasis on the resurrection of Jesus Christ rather than the death of Jesus Christ.

Ultimately, it isn’t inappropriate for a Mormon to wear the symbol of the cross. If such a thing brings someone closer to Christ, it’s probably not inappropriate.
