Are Mormons polygamous? Do all Mormons have a lot of kids? Do all Mormons live in Utah? Do all Mormons go to BYU? There are SO MANY stereotypes about members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons). Are the stereotypes true?
Well, as with many stereotypes, they contain some amount of truth and that’s what we talk about in this video. We address many different stereotypes and respond to their veracity.
Mimi first addresses the question of polygamy. She says that she doesn’t have multiple moms, as she is often accused. Kwaku responds by reading off a list of stereotypes and giving a quick answer to each. David talks about the age at which LDS members (or ‘Mormons’) get married, among other things.
